Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Last Updated: July 28, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to orders purchased from Baselabstore, operated by BASELAB LLC.
By placing an order that requires shipping or delivery, the customer agrees to this policy.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully received and verified.
Processing times may vary depending on:
-
Product availability;
-
Order size;
-
Wholesale quantities;
-
Customization;
-
Backdrop production;
-
Packaging requirements; and
-
Seasonal order volume.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
Estimated shipping or delivery dates are not guaranteed unless Baselabstore expressly confirms a guaranteed date in writing.
2. Shipping Locations
Baselabstore ships eligible products to approved addresses within the areas supported by our shipping carriers.
Some products may be limited to:
-
In-store pickup;
-
Local delivery;
-
Freight delivery; or
-
Customer-arranged transportation.
We may refuse or cancel shipping to locations where safe or reasonable delivery is unavailable.
3. Shipping Backdrops
Backdrops are carefully prepared and packaged to help protect them during transportation.
Depending on the product, backdrop packaging may include:
-
Protective wrapping;
-
Foam or padding;
-
Corner protection;
-
Reinforced packaging;
-
Plastic wrapping;
-
Boxes, crates or pallets;
-
Secured hardware and accessories; and
-
Separate packaging for detachable components.
Baselabstore takes reasonable steps to package backdrops safely and securely before they leave our possession.
Because backdrops may be large, heavy or oversized, they may be shipped through a freight carrier instead of a standard parcel carrier.
The customer is responsible for:
-
Providing an accurate delivery address;
-
Confirming that the location can receive oversized shipments;
-
Providing a working telephone number;
-
Being available for any required delivery appointment;
-
Inspecting the shipment upon arrival; and
-
Following any freight-delivery instructions.
Backdrop shipping costs may vary based on size, weight, packaging, destination and carrier requirements.
4. Backdrop Freight Deliveries
Freight shipments may be delivered to the curb, loading area or another carrier-approved location.
Standard freight delivery may not include:
-
Inside delivery;
-
Unpacking;
-
Assembly;
-
Installation;
-
Carrying items upstairs;
-
Elevator delivery;
-
Removal of packaging; or
-
Placement inside a venue or residence.
Additional services must be arranged and paid for in advance when available.
The customer must ensure that the delivery location has enough space and access to receive the backdrop.
Additional fees caused by limited access, missed appointments, redelivery or incorrect information are the customer’s responsibility.
5. Korean Wrapping Paper Packaging
Korean wrapping paper is carefully inspected and packaged before shipment.
Paper packs may be:
-
Wrapped or sealed in plastic;
-
Protected from moisture;
-
Secured to reduce movement;
-
Placed in protective cartons; and
-
Reinforced when necessary to reduce bending or crushing.
We take reasonable precautions to help ensure the paper arrives clean, dry and undamaged.
Customers should open packages carefully and avoid using knives or sharp tools that could cut the paper inside.
Minor packaging marks that do not affect the usability of the paper are not considered product damage.
6. Glass Products
Baselabstore does not ship glass products through standard parcel or freight shipping.
Glass products may only be available through:
-
In-store pickup; or
-
Approved local delivery.
Orders containing glass may be adjusted, canceled or separated into multiple fulfillment methods.
If a customer places an order containing glass for shipping, Baselabstore may contact the customer to arrange pickup, local delivery, substitution or a refund for the glass portion of the order.
Baselabstore may refuse to release glass merchandise to a third-party carrier selected by the customer unless otherwise approved in writing.
When a customer arranges their own transportation for glass merchandise, the customer assumes responsibility for the glass after it leaves the Baselabstore location.
7. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on factors including:
-
Package size;
-
Package weight;
-
Delivery destination;
-
Product type;
-
Packaging requirements;
-
Freight classification;
-
Carrier rates; and
-
Requested shipping services.
Shipping, freight, delivery, handling, packaging and insurance charges are generally nonrefundable once the order has shipped or the service has been performed.
Additional charges may apply for:
-
Oversized products;
-
Residential freight delivery;
-
Lift-gate service;
-
Inside delivery;
-
Limited-access locations;
-
Appointment delivery;
-
Redelivery;
-
Address corrections;
-
Storage; and
-
Missed delivery appointments.
8. Delivery Addresses
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address.
Baselabstore is not responsible for delays, losses or additional fees caused by:
-
Incorrect addresses;
-
Missing apartment, suite or unit numbers;
-
Incorrect ZIP codes;
-
Incorrect telephone numbers;
-
Incomplete business names;
-
Closed businesses;
-
Restricted delivery locations; or
-
Failure to provide access instructions.
Customers should contact us immediately if they notice an address error.
Address changes are not guaranteed after an order has entered processing or has been transferred to a carrier.
9. Tracking Information
Tracking information will be provided when available.
Tracking may not update immediately after a shipping label is created.
Some freight shipments may require the customer to communicate directly with the freight carrier to schedule delivery.
The customer is responsible for monitoring tracking information and being available to receive the shipment.
10. Carrier Delays
Once an order is transferred to the shipping carrier, transportation is controlled by that carrier.
Baselabstore is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
-
Carrier delays;
-
Weather;
-
Traffic;
-
Natural disasters;
-
Labor disruptions;
-
Holiday volume;
-
Road closures;
-
Government inspections;
-
Customs;
-
Incorrect addresses;
-
Delivery restrictions; or
-
Other transportation interruptions.
We will reasonably assist customers with carrier inquiries when appropriate, but we cannot guarantee a carrier’s delivery date.
11. Inspecting Your Delivery
Customers must inspect all packages and freight shipments as soon as they arrive.
Before signing for a freight shipment, the customer should inspect the exterior packaging for:
-
Tears;
-
Holes;
-
Crushing;
-
Water exposure;
-
Broken wrapping;
-
Missing pieces;
-
Opened packaging; or
-
Other visible damage.
Visible damage should be written on the carrier’s delivery receipt before the customer signs for the shipment.
Signing a freight receipt without noting visible damage may make it harder to submit a successful carrier claim.
Customers should not discard the product, box, pallet, wrapping, labels or other packaging until the order has been fully inspected.
12. Damaged Orders
Although we carefully inspect and package eligible products, damage can occasionally occur during transportation.
Shipping damage must be reported to support@baselabstore.com within 72 hours of delivery.
The customer must provide:
-
Full name;
-
Order number;
-
Description of the damage;
-
Clear photographs of the damaged merchandise;
-
Photographs of the interior packaging;
-
Photographs of the exterior box, crate or pallet;
-
A photograph of the shipping label;
-
A photograph of the freight receipt, when applicable; and
-
Photographs showing any damage to the packaging before it was opened.
Customers must keep all merchandise and packaging while the claim is being reviewed.
Failure to report damage within 72 hours, provide sufficient evidence or retain the original packaging may prevent Baselabstore from verifying or submitting a claim.
13. Damage Resolutions
After reviewing a properly submitted damage claim, Baselabstore may provide an appropriate resolution, which may include:
-
Replacement of the affected product;
-
Replacement of the damaged component;
-
Repair;
-
Store credit;
-
Partial refund; or
-
Refund of the affected product.
The appropriate resolution will depend on the extent of the damage, product availability, shipping carrier requirements and applicable law.
Baselabstore may require the damaged product to be returned before providing a replacement or refund.
When a verified return is required because an item was damaged during shipping, Baselabstore will provide return instructions.
Customers should not ship damaged merchandise back without written authorization.
14. Damage Caused While Opening
Baselabstore is not responsible for damage caused by the customer while opening the package.
Customers must use care when removing:
-
Plastic wrapping;
-
Tape;
-
Straps;
-
Cardboard;
-
Protective foam; and
-
Other packaging materials.
Knives, scissors and cutting tools should not be inserted deeply into boxes or packaging because they may damage wrapping paper, backdrops or other products.
15. Missing or Incorrect Products
Missing or incorrect products must be reported to support@baselabstore.com within 72 hours of delivery.
The customer must provide photographs of:
-
All merchandise received;
-
The shipping box or container;
-
The packing materials;
-
The shipping label; and
-
The packing slip, when included.
Customers must keep the entire shipment together until the claim has been reviewed.
16. Lost Packages
A package is not considered lost merely because tracking has temporarily stopped updating or the estimated delivery date has passed.
Baselabstore may require the customer to wait until the carrier’s investigation or required claim period has been completed.
When a carrier confirms that a shipment was lost, Baselabstore may replace or refund the affected merchandise, depending on availability and the circumstances of the claim.
Orders marked delivered by the carrier are not automatically considered lost.
Customers should first:
-
Check the delivery location;
-
Check with household members or employees;
-
Check with neighbors or nearby businesses;
-
Check mailrooms, reception areas and loading docks; and
-
Contact the carrier.
Baselabstore may assist with a carrier investigation but does not guarantee reimbursement when the carrier confirms successful delivery.
17. Refused Shipments
Refusing a shipment does not automatically cancel the order or qualify the customer for a refund.
Customers may be responsible for:
-
Original shipping charges;
-
Return-shipping charges;
-
Freight charges;
-
Storage charges;
-
Redelivery charges;
-
Carrier fees; and
-
Handling expenses.
These charges may be deducted from any refund that is approved or legally required.
18. Undeliverable and Unclaimed Shipments
The customer is responsible for additional costs caused by:
-
An incorrect address;
-
Failure to schedule a freight appointment;
-
Failure to receive the shipment;
-
An inaccessible delivery location;
-
Refusal of delivery;
-
Failure to collect the order; or
-
Failure to respond to the carrier.
Undeliverable or unclaimed merchandise may be returned to Baselabstore, stored or disposed of according to carrier rules.
Additional shipping and handling charges may be required before an order can be shipped again.
19. Local Delivery
Local delivery may be available for qualifying orders within approved service areas.
Local delivery fees, availability and scheduling may vary depending on:
-
Distance;
-
Order size;
-
Product type;
-
Vehicle requirements;
-
Access conditions; and
-
Requested delivery time.
The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the delivery location.
Unless installation or inside delivery is specifically included in writing, local delivery does not include assembly, installation or placement of merchandise.
Glass products transported through an approved Baselabstore local-delivery service should be inspected immediately upon arrival.
20. Customer-Arranged Shipping
Customers must receive written approval before arranging their own shipping carrier, freight company, courier or transportation provider.
When a customer or customer-selected carrier takes possession of an order from Baselabstore, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Baselabstore is not responsible for loss, breakage or damage caused by a transportation provider selected by the customer.
